Loft Wedding New York City Style

5.1.13

We couldn’t be happier for our bride– excuse us, Jose’s bride (and now wife)– Christine. New York chic met Puerto Rican flare at the Skylight West venue on November 17th. Loft Wedding, New York City style!

Christine & José were married at a super contemporary loft. Blessed with a sunny day, first pictures were taken at Madison Square Park where Christine kept warm with a lush fur shawl.

Moving to the Skylight venue, lighting and sound were used to create distinct spaces between the ceremony and cocktail area. Both were held in the industrial open first floor. The beautiful ceremony was translated in Spanish for the many family and friends attending from Puerto Rico.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed a 2-bar cocktail hour, with passed hors d’oeuvres, and the always crowd-pleasing, farm table.

The reception color palette, was of purples and metallics — a romantic yet modern & chic environment. Christine and José impressed us all with their professionally choreographed first dance. They were then joined by friends and family on the dance floor for some energetic dancing throughout the night. The love between the couple, and in the room at large, was a beautiful thing to bear witness.

Christine and José, we couldn’t be happier for you!!
